History

The computer society of Dharmapala Vidyalaya was established in June, 1999.

1999
Mr.R.S.Rajapaksha was the principal of that time the venture of establishing the computer society was pioneered by Mr. K.D.M.S.Jayathilake a former teacher of the school. The society's motto is "get ready for the future".

2004
The society was reestablished on a stronger foundation under the guidance of Mr.S.K.Hegodaarachchi the teacher-in-charge of information technology.

2012
The society was reestablished on a stronger foundation under the guidance of Mr.J.W.K.K Shyamlal the teacher-in-charge of information technology.
